David R.
Lane - Senior Partner
For more than 25 years, Mr. Lane has focused his practice on complex
primary, excess and umbrella liability and first party property insurance
coverage disputes. From this background, he routinely consults on
and litigates coverage questions in the context of a broad array
of property, construction defect, employment practices liability,
intellectual property, environmental and employee welfare benefits
claims. With experience as an insurance claim professional, as a
counselor and as a litigator, Mr. Lane has lectured on issues cutting
across all lines of insurance products and services vital to the
interests of commercial insurers, joint power authorities, individuals
and businesses alike. |
Mr. Lane has also handled a number of insurance coverage
appeals, including matters raising issues as diverse as patent infringement;
advertising injury; complex multi-carrier contribution; unfair competition;
Business and Professions code Section 17200, et seq; environmental contamination;
and “claims-made” coverage provisions.
